Rose is an adult artist with autism. She created this using dimensional and acrylic paint, markers and colored pencil. Our maternal grandfather and uncle were both smokers and Rose has been obsessed with smoking since we were kids. She is mostly non-verbal and will often use art to express herself. This painting is from our 2014 show, "Somewhere in Between." The 1 inch deep sides are painted black. This painting is wired and ready to hang. Rose is a self-taught artist and her work can be found in private collections around the world.
