Grace is part of a group of paintings done for a recent show. The theme of the show was Breaking Bread. This theme evoked memories of family gatherings in my childhood. Some of my fondest memories of breaking bread throughout my life were with my family. 

At those gatherings there were always  prayers for safe travels. Prayers for those who were ill and didn’t make it. And we always said grace.
