About ten years ago this painting was part of a series of three I started. I posted the other two on social media when I finished them, they sold and I could never quite finish this one. I painted. Painted over. And finally gave up on it. It sat here until two months ago when I decided to use it for #CreativityKickstart #kickstart2. Our prompts were:
COLOR: Bright Green and one of the following -
MEDIA: acrylic
THEME: spring
TECHNIQUE: printing (gel, screen, woodcut, linocut, etc)
BONUS: heavy texture

I used them all except for printing. I tried to fake it by using stamps and ink on an old dictionary page. I wanted to fake it because the page was so old and I didn't want it to deteriorate plus I wanted to keep a word from the page. LOL!!! I covered the page in gel medium and then stamped it. The word was "bird."
